Hi, my name is Melissa and I have been working on this website since February of 2000. I was diagnosed with placenta previa in October of 1998. In surfing around the Net, I was able to learn more about this condition thanks to Karen Cork and her "Club Previa" site.
Soon, I became involved with the "Members Forum" and several gals had expressed an interest in having one site where all the girls' stories would be posted in one place. Therefore, "Clubhouse Previa" was born.
While the years have seen changes and my time quickly evaporating, I continue to work on the web site every few months or so. I would ask that ladies or men who have a story to share, please do so, whether it be sad or happy. I believe strongly that ALL stories need to be shared because it is important to be as honest as possible about this potentially frightening diagnosis. It is my hope that we can nurture and support in any way that we can. Because of time constraints, I can only accept stories that have shown the entire progression of your previa, which means that there has been a conclusion to your story by the time you submit.
If you would like more immediate feedback, those ladies who are newly diagnosed are more than welcome to post to the message forum with questions and concerns about this condition.
